How billing works
- You pay for confirmed employees only. Pending invites, anyone who replied STOP, and anyone you’ve archived aren’t billed. The bill follows your roster automatically.
- Messages are pooled. Standard includes 15 messages per confirmed employee each month and Plus includes 30, shared across the whole team. The pool resets each billing period.
- No overage charges. If you use the whole pool, further sends pause until it resets instead of costing extra.
- No per-seat fees. Anyone on your team who signs in to the account can send.
- No contracts or setup fees. Monthly billing, cancel anytime from the dashboard.
Which plan do you need?
Standard if you have up to 20 employees and mostly send one message to everyone: closures, schedule posts, reminders.
Plus if you have more than 20 employees, want separate groups by role, shift, or location, or want to read and answer replies. On Standard, replies stay private but aren’t shown in your dashboard; Conversations on Plus is where you read and answer them one-on-one.

7 days, up to 20 employees and 60 messages, no credit card. The clock starts when you send your first broadcast, not when you sign up, so the days your team spends replying YES don’t count. When it ends, sending pauses until you subscribe — nothing is deleted, and trial messages don’t count against your first paid month.

Common questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 7 days free, with no credit card. You can add up to 20 employees and send up to 60 messages. The countdown starts when you send your first broadcast rather than when you sign up, so you’re not losing days while your team replies YES to their opt-in texts.
What counts as a confirmed employee?
Someone who replied YES to their opt-in text. Pending invites aren’t billed, though they hold a roster slot until they confirm or you remove them. Anyone who replies STOP, or whom you archive, stops counting right away.
What happens if we go over our message limit?
Your message pool resets every billing period. If you use it all up, additional sends beyond the pool just won’t go out — there’s no surprise overage charge. Contact support@tryairhorn.com if you need a higher limit.
Do opt-in texts count against our messages?
No. The confirmation text each employee gets when you add them, and the automatic replies to STOP and HELP, don’t come out of your pool.
Can we switch between Standard and Plus?
Yes, from Billing in your dashboard. You can move back to Standard any time your roster fits its 20-employee limit.
Do employees pay anything?
No. They receive ordinary text messages, so the only cost to them is whatever their carrier charges for texts, which for most plans is nothing.
Can we cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no contracts — cancel anytime from the dashboard.
