A Text-Em-All alternative for small staff teams
Text-Em-All is one of the closer tools to Airhorn: it sends broadcasts to a group, not marketing campaigns. For some teams it’s the better choice, and we’ll say which ones.
Where Text-Em-All genuinely wins
- Voice calls. It can send recorded voice broadcasts as well as texts. If part of your team responds better to a phone call, Airhorn can’t do that.
- Bigger groups. It’s built for groups well into the thousands. Airhorn tops out at 100 employees per plan.
- Price above ~20 people. Its monthly plan is $19 for up to 50 contacts and $39 for up to 100. Airhorn costs more than that once you pass about 20 employees.
- Pay-as-you-go. If you only send a few times a year, credits that never expire can beat any subscription.
- Anyone, not just staff. Schools, churches, and volunteer groups use it. Airhorn is only for employees.
Where Airhorn fits better
- Very small teams. Under about 18 employees, Airhorn’s per-employee price is lower than Text-Em-All’s smallest monthly plan.
- A staff-shaped roster. Employees confirm by replying YES, STOP is permanent, and archiving someone who leaves takes them off every future message and off your bill.
- Groups and one-on-one replies for targeting by role or location and replying privately (Plus).
- Quiet hours. Non-urgent broadcasts written overnight wait until 8am; urgent ones go immediately.
